Santar's mother was a poor citizen of Darcan, who fell victim to a raid on the city of Darcan, by Apocalypse and his evil minions from Rac Semdar. Sanaluth made the raid at night sending in waves of orog’s and dark warriors. The knight’s of Darcan fought long and hard but could not completely fight off all the orog’s. Some of them made it in through the city gates and began to ravage the town, cause what damage they could before the Darcan Knight’s tracked them down. One such orc of an unusually evil and demented temperament found a woman alone in her small house and brutally beat and raped her. The many citizens of Darcan felt pity on the poor women but knew there was more trouble awaiting her once she gave birth to the child. Upon giving birth his mother was told to drown the child because of its orcish heritage. She was told, “no proper society would except a child such as that.” But instead of drowning the half-bread child she snuck aboard a trading ship headed for Makilor and hid in the cargo hold, in hopes that they would except her and the newborn she had in her arms. When she arrived in Makilor she found that the people were no different there, then in Darcan. She was criticized, spit upon, and even stoned for bringing a child such as that to the city of Makilor. She fled from Makilor with the orcish baby in arms. She ran east along the Great Western Road, then fled south through the forest and past NovDom where she finally stopped for rest in N’Wic.

She remained in N'Wic for a few days to regen her strength, the whole time hiding her child in blankets and saying that he was sick so no one would come close. While staying there she heard rumors of a town full of outlaws to the east, past a ghost town, named Cordellia. She was fearful of the stories she had heard about the ghosts, but determined to raise her child in some kind of society that would except them, and what better place then a town full of outlaws such as herself and her child? So she brushed the warning and many stories she had been told about the ghost town and decided to head out. She set out early one shiny spring morning. She traveled quickly in hopes of finding their new home as soon as possible. She reached the ghost town in not more then two days. From a distance it appeared that there were some people roaming throughout the city, maybe it wasn’t a ghost town after all. But upon closer inspection she realized that in fact it was a ghost town, and there really were ghosts in it. She tried to go around the city numerous times, but each different trail she took that seemed to lead around the city brought her right back to the trail she had originally started on. After many tries to evade the city she felt a feeling inside of her telling her to go through the city, that she would not be harmed. The feeling inside was strong, and demanded attention when it was with her. The feeling was so strong that she was scared to disobey. She entered the city slowly, creeping along through allies, staying away from the main streets in hopes of avoiding the ghosts. But after a few minutes a large goblin like ghost began to follow her. She started to walk faster and when she looked back again there were only more ghosts following her, when she turned back around she was confronted by a large group of ghosts. They seemed to be blocking her path. The fear she had originally felt inside was growing strong again, and the voice she had heard was no longer with her. She was about to turn back and flee when the voice spoke to her once again, telling her, “fear not, for I shall not let this child be harmed, he has been chosen to serve me.” With that the ghosts stepped back forming a path through the crowd, and she moved on through out the city with no further confrontations.

She left the city with a big sigh of relief and moved on to the east, to Cordellia, and to what she thought would be their new home. Cordellia wasn’t all that she had hoped for though. It wasn’t much of a town at all, but more or less a hide out for a group of bandits. When Santar’s mother showed up one day they were not pleased at all. Santar and his mother were spotted by late one night by O’nary the bandit and ceased. He took them before Hood the bandit, leader of their posse, and asked what he wanted them to do. Hood asked a few questions of the women and saw no purpose she could serve him and his friends, and decided to have them killed, rather then let her go and have others coming to his town from word of mouth by her and disturbing him. But Hood’s love Tuck had over heard the conversation and felt pity for the woman and her child, the things that she had been through were terrible and she had no where else to go. Tuck convinced Hood to let her stay in Cordellia with them and raise the child.

She spent the next 2 years in Cordellia with Santar, for that was all the time they had together. Santar’s mother was killed one day, while walking through the forest surrounding Cordellia. She had lost track of time and direction, and wandered to far south, eventually ending up in Ogre country, where she was viciously killed by an Ogre Scout. Santar was at such a young age then, that he didn’t remember anything about his mother. After the death of his mother The Bandits of Cordellia excepted Santar into there family and taught him how to fight, rob, steal, sneak, and the many other skills of a bandit. At the age of 12 he was already going on raids and robbing trade caravans with them. The other bandits noticed a certain rage in the eyes of Santar. He was always wanting to kill, and never satisfied with just taking their victims money or possessions. A raid was never a good raid unless Santar got to kill. By 15 he was just as skilled in fighting as the other bandits, and only noticeably out done by Hood himself. As he grew older the rage they had seen in him before only grew stronger. Santar and Hood began to disagree a lot too. Santar wanted the group to move on to bigger things. He said they could make better money in the big cities. But Hood was content where he was. So Santar began to take some of the bandits out on long excursions into more populated areas, where Santar would terrorize the people. There was never a witness to Santar’s raids because he never let anyone live, so Hood never heard of the carnage that went on there. Finally when Santar was 17 years old, and after returning from a large raid against a caravan traveling from Ba-ul Naran to Makilor, Hood over heard them partying and rejoicing over their latest adventure. Hood was outraged at the amount of violence and bloodshed Santar had caused. He banned Santar from Cordellia and beat him severely. Santar could barely walk after the beating Hood gave him.

Santar traveled south wandering through the same area his mother had been through 15 years before. He however was much more stealth then his mother and avoided in Ogre’s. For the next 2 years Santar lived in the forests, surviving off the land. He begun to find peace with-in himself and that rage that had been with him for so long began to fade, and sink deep down inside of him. He began to think about life and all the many questions involved. He wondered what his human mother was like that the bandits had told him about.

When exploring one day he wandered upon a broad, heavily traveled road that was used to travel between Ba-ul Naran and the other Major cities of Entia. He followed the road north and west until he came upon a sailor selling boats to people heading up river. When Santar first approached the sailor he sneered at him and ran Santar off before he could even say a word. Santar was puzzled at the man's behavior, but came back that night and stole one of the finer canoes the sailor had. He took the canoe up the river like the people he had seen doing in the day time. After many hours of paddling upstream Santar come upon a large dock. The dock would have normally been filled with people loading and unloading the many vessels that lined the dock. But it was late at night and only a few of the city guards were there. So Santar came ashore and decided to explore. That night he learned that he had entered the city of Makilor, which was ruled by King Ran de Lucian. He slept in a back alley that night, with a new found excitement of this city called Makilor. He was awakened however, that morning to the noise of shouting. All around him were people shouting and sneering at him. As he arose to his feet to see what was wrong people began throwing things at him, and spitting upon him. Some of the city guards saw the commotion and ceased Santar. They beat him and threw him out of the city, telling him that if he ever returned they would kill him. Santar moved on to other cities, like Tansar, Ba-ul Naran, but was treated much the same. He wondered why he was treated this way, what had he done to these people? He used to rob and kill but he no longer did that, the rage that had built inside of him was suppressed and controlled now. But each time he was beaten or spit upon or stoned the rage inside him would grow again. Santar decided to try one last city before he gave up on this world. It was NovDom that he would give a chance, he liked the area it was in, it reminded him of his 2 years spent in the forest after leaving Cordellia. But he was treated no differently in NovDom, and was immediately stoned, beaten and banned from the city. But this time instead of moving on Santar stayed around the city, hiding just outside the city walls. He could no longer take this, he had not done anything to these people and they all hated him. The rage inside of him was beginning to take him over again. It was one night that he lost all control of himself. He snuck into NovDom that night, creeping past a sleeping guard at the gate. All throughout the night he snuck into the houses of NovDom and killed many of the citizens only sparing the helpless and the children. By morning he had killed over 20 people, over the night the rage had consumed him completely, each beating or stoning he had taken, that was pushed down inside of him had come out and exploded in a vicious rage that lasted throughout the night. He went back to many of the cities he had been to before and killed many in those cities at night like he had done in NovDom. After many night time raids through many cities Santar disappeared from the civilized world and returning once again to the forest that had treated him so well a few years before.

In the next few years Santar once again found that peace with-in himself. But it was no longer a happy and loving piece, that rage that had consumed him that night in NovDom was still with him, and consumed him completely. The piece he found was demented and chaotic, he no longer wondered or cared why he was not excepted by society, he no longer cared who or what he killed, he would spare no one in his travels throughout the world. He began to make raids on small trading wagons that passed along the broad, heavily traveled road. After that had grown tiring he started robbing larger trading caravans using the skills he had been taught by Hood and the other bandits. He acquired a great deal of wealth from his nightly raids on trading wagons and caravans.

Santar however grew tired of this and looked on for a greater challenge. Something that would bring him immense power and wealth, something that would satisfy the rage that ruled him completely.
